Mindful Healing is a place where you can rest, talk, gain clarity and heal. A place where your natural innate healing abilities are validated, respected and encouraged. Together, you and Paula decide which approach is best for the presenting circumstances. Issues related to mind, body and spiritual health, habits and well-being are within the realms of Mindful Healing.
When appropriate, you may be invited to empower yourself by learning how to use the strengths of your own deep mind to facilitate the profound changes you seek. At times, you may need bodywork such as massage or reflexology. Other times, counselling and/or hypnosis therapy are appropriate. Paula is often asked to draw upon her Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Quantum Touch® techniques. Eden Energy Medicine is also available.
Appointments can be for in person or remote consultations. Healings can also be remotely done so your Qi, life energy, can be balanced. Please contact me to chat:) I love working with animals, too!
As a Registered Counsellor, Naturotherapist, Certified Hypnosis Therapist, and Emotional Freedom Techniques Facilitator, I have 25 years training and experience. My philosophy is based on client-centered therapy which encourages self-knowledge and inner wisdom.
In the mid nineties while teaching Tai Chi and meditation classes in Germany, I felt the call to come back home and learn more about the mind/body healing practices. I became a registered massage therapist and had many wonderful teachers for other modalities. My complementary health care clinic was very busy! I paused for a while to raise my children. It became apparent, though, that the need for wholistic health care and education was still great and my need to continue my work brewed intensely.
Now we have moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to serve in that area. I endeavour to stay current regarding the science and art of my approaches to health care and look forward to sharing.
